FOBISIA was established in 1988 to provide a supportive network for international schools offering a British style of curriculum in Asia. It currently has 91 member schools across 18 countries, predominantly in Thailand, Malaysia and China.
CEO, John Gwyn Jones MBE describes the support that ISC Research gives to the association and its members:
“Schools are busy places and, although most schools manage to stay well informed, many Heads need to take more advantage of the market data and intelligence that is available to them. There is some fantastic data available from ISC Research including the data for benchmarking a school, data on new trends within local markets, white papers on important themes, and valuable understanding across the sector including data on very specific aspects of school business such as CPD. As the premier association of British international schools in Asia, it’s our job to highlight what’s important for our schools and how to use it in the way that will best help them, and also to work with ISC Research to produce the data that really matters for our schools.
We have a great relationship and a valuable partnership with ISC Research and, as the leading company for market research, that’s critical for us. It means we feel able to come with questions and needs. Understanding what a company’s strengths are is important to know what we can ask for. That’s important for all business relationships. So are the great connections, and the team at ISC Research represent the company very well.”
