Moderator:
Lusine Nalbandyan-Andreke, Customer Success Executive for International, FlashAcademy
Lusine is the Customer Success Executive for International here at FlashAcademy. Even though she has a legal background, learning new languages has always been important part of her life. She speaks English, Armenian, Russian, French, and is currently learning Lithuanian. She personally empathises a lot with teachers and learners, and is passionate about helping them to overcome their EAL challenges. She believes that knowing multiple languages can open up more doors and opportunities for learners, so it is rewarding for her to see how our efforts influence young learners’ language development, giving them confidence in communication and seeking new chances in life.
Panellists:
Nick Robitaille, SENCO/ Inclusion Coordinator, Newton British Academy-Barwa
Nick is in his fifth year as an educator in Qatar at Newton British Academy-Barwa, expanding upon his career teaching abroad, which began nearly a decade ago. As a member of the AESN/Inclusion department, he believes in asserting student’s independence. One of the ways they facilitate that objective is through a range of multi-media resources, which students agency over their learning and -most importantly- make learning fun.
