Join Edmentum for a Continued Professional Development (CPD) webinar on Mastering Tomorrow: The Power of Durable Skills in the 21st Century, on 22nd October at 2pm GMT +1.
In this session, Edmentum will be asking the question, Are we preparing students for their future or our past? We will explore the essential durable skills that empower individuals to thrive in the ever-evolving landscape of the 21st century. From adaptability to critical thinking, join us as we unlock the potential of tomorrow’s leaders.
Here are takeaways we hope attendees will gain about durable skills:
For Educators:
- The Durable Skills Advantage Framework serves as a transformative tool for education systems. By explicitly embedding durable skills such as communication, critical thinking, and adaptability into learning experiences, educators can create future-ready graduates.
- It encourages innovation in teaching practices, promotes student-centered classrooms, and broadens opportunities for learners to access economic mobility.
- Additionally, it provides a cornerstone for professional development, allowing educators and school leaders to identify strengths and areas for improvement, ultimately enhancing their own skill sets.
For School Leaders:
- The Durable Skills Advantage Framework empowers school leaders to align their institutions with broader workforce demands.
- By understanding and promoting durable skills, leaders can create a culture that prioritizes skill cultivation.
