Join Julie Cobb, Director of Professional Services at Nearpod and Flocabulary, for a Continued Professional Development (CPD) webinar on strategies to increase student achievement this new school year.
During this CPD webinar, Julie will introduce the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework—a comprehensive approach that integrates academic and behavioural interventions to meet the diverse needs of all students. MTSS is important to international schools as it helps ensure that every student, regardless of background or ability, receives the support they need to succeed.
Julie will explore evidence-based strategies to tailor instruction and adjust teaching methods, aiming to reduce the need for Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions by strengthening Tier 1 core instruction. By integrating these strategies, educators can ensure their instruction is rigorous, engaging, and inclusive, setting all students on a path to success.
Julie holds a bachelor’s degree in Education of the Hearing Impaired and a master’s degree in Educational Leadership. She worked in public education for 26 years as a Deaf Education Teacher, a Special Education Teacher, and a Technology Integration Specialist in her district. She is passionate about sharing innovative ways to transform teaching and learning using technology in the classroom and beyond.
