International school governance practices
Is school governance serving the needs of its community?
In May 2022 ISC Research conducted research to identify current practice occurring within international school governance models, and to identify how governance might have changed since baseline research, which was conducted in 2018.
Our specialist report explores changes in international school governance practices which include board diversity, board induction and CPD, board understanding of current school challenges and needs, board responsibility for Head of School wellbeing, and transparency of board responsibilities and evaluation.
