Join us for our second Continued Professional Development (CPD) webinar, hosted by Nadim Saad, Founder and Chief Happiness Officer at The Happy Confident Company. This CPD webinar will be focused on implementing a whole school wellbeing and pastoral care approach.

Nadim Saad is a best-selling author, parenting expert, and founder of The Happy Confident Company. He has been working for the past decade with renowned therapists and teachers, drawing from the latest research in child psychology and neuroscience to develop wellbeing programmes that have already impacted positively the lives of hundreds of thousands of children and families. His key areas of expertise are parenting, happiness, and kids’ mental health and wellbeing.

To address the mental health disorders currently affecting 1 in 6 children in England, Nadim Saad has developed the clinician-approved, 10-minute-per-day Happy Confident Schools Programme with support from teachers, pupils and therapists. Available in small, manageable chunks to fit in and around the tightest schedules, the Happy Confident Schools Programme is based on ground-breaking research showing that just ten minutes of wellbeing and mindfulness a day can be transformative. Tried and tested over 24 months to ensure it fulfils the needs and demands of any school, data shows that the programme leads to children feeling uplifted, behaving better and consequently reducing the burden and stress on teaching staff.

Nadim Saad will cover the following:

  • Current challenges and obstacles to implementing successful wellbeing programmes in schools.
  • Presenting solutions for wellbeing and pastoral care to be embedded within the curriculum to become more effective.
  • Real life examples of best practices in pastoral care.
  • Proven impact of social emotional learning and wellbeing programmes worldwide.
