Full description

In February 2024, ISC Research launched a survey in collaboration with multiple globally renowned international school associations. This survey asked teachers to provide insight into their career goals, satisfaction, and future prospects with the aim of gaining insight into the patterns of teacher mobility within the international schools sector.

This survey is built on the groundwork of the research for the COBIS Teacher Supply in British International Schools report, produced in partnership with ISC Research since 2018. The 2024 survey ran for 12 weeks and received a total of 2,539 responses, with participants from 59 different countries.

This report will analyse various sections of the survey, breaking down common attributes among the respondents and analysing the reasons why teachers choose to work in the international sector, their expectations and satisfaction levels, what motivates them to make geographical moves and how these perspectives can be different for teachers with different backgrounds.
