Susan Burton, CEO and Founder of Classlist, hosted a Continued Professional Development (CPD) webinar. This CPD webinar focused on how to manage parents brilliantly, both in real life and on social media.

Susan Burton started her career as a chartered accountant with Deloitte in Australia, then relocated to the UK as a management consultant with PwC. As a veteran of four digital startups, Susan is the founder and CEO of Classlist. The award-winning company helps parents build trust-based, inclusive school communities where they communicate securely; organise events, and raise funds. Classlist is now the UK’s biggest community platform designed specifically for school parents. Classlist works with over 500 schools in more than 35 countries.

This CPD webinar will help international educators manage parents as a community. It will draw on the latest thinking from community scientists; discuss the implications for schools, and highlight the practical tools schools can use to build a positive online and offline community environment where every family feels they belong, feel proud of the schools, and are motivated to support it. This webinar will be of particular benefit to educators with responsibilities for communications, parent engagement and admissions. Susan Burton will be offering an insight into community theory, benchmarking your existing parent community, practical advice to supercharge your community and constraints.
