Ildiko Murray, Head of School at Changchun American International School
Dr. Ildiko Murray currently serves as Head of School at Changchun American International School. She is also an IB Educator Certificate Instructor for Leadership Practices at the Faculty of Education of Western University in London, Ontario, Canada. Previously, she was the Head of Secondary at International School Dhaka. Before her posting in Bangladesh, she was the Diploma Program Coordinator and CAS/EE Coordinator at the American International School Kuwait. She earned a PhD in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Development from the University of Toronto, with a dissertation entitled Teacher Collaboration for Mandated Accreditation: A Case Study of Evaluating the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Ildiko also acts as Subject Matter Expert for IB evaluation procedures, IB workshop leader and visiting team member, and CIS and WASC evaluation team member. She has presented her research on accreditation practices at various international conferences and is a frequent contributor to panel discussions and special focus groups.
Sam Mills, Head of School at Sias International School
Dr. Sam E. Mills serves as the Head of School at Sias International School in Zhengzhou, China. Sias IS is the first and only international school in Henan, China. Previously, Dr. Mills was the Chief of Staff for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools in North Carolina where he also held the roles of Staff Attorney, Director of School Administration, and Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction. He holds an Ed.D in Educational Leadership from High Point University; Juris Doctorate and Master of Business Administration from Campbell University; and BS in Special Education from Bradley University. When not working hard to grow and support the amazing team at Sias IS, Dr. Mills enjoys time with his wife, Lauren, and their three young children.
