The shortlisted schools have been announced for the International School Awards 2022. 261 eligible applications were received this year from international schools in 48 countries including schools in Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, Azerbaijan, Cameroon, Romania and Peru.

The judging panel complimented participating schools on their resilience and commitment to improving student learning at such a challenging time for educators the world over. The judges congratulated the shortlisted schools on their initiatives, all of which are breaking new boundaries and share rigorous evidence of implementation and of public outreach enabling other schools to benefit from innovative and inspiring good practice. The shortlisted schools are:

Several other schools were identified for special awards because of the nature of their initiatives within their unique learning settings.

The award winners and special awards will be announced during a live virtual award ceremony on Tuesday 18th January 2022 hosted by ISC Research. Details explaining the shortlisted initiatives will be available on the virtual event platform from late November, which will also provide community forums to ask school representatives about their initiatives and to exchange ideas. Free registration to the platform will be launched next week.
