Meet us at this year’s COBIS Pre-Conference Independent Schools Event, 7th May.

This session is for UK independent schools considering business opportunities abroad. The one-day event, running ahead of the 40th COBIS Annual Conference, will guide you on the possibilities available to a school brand including low-risk options. It will include current data and intelligence on potential destinations, the latest development models, and the experiences of British brands already established overseas.

Attendees will have the opportunity to join the opening plenary of the main COBIS Annual Conference, and the option to add on tickets for the conference welcome dinner and full conference. All sessions will include time for Q&A.

11:00 – 11:20     The demand for independent international education and British education hosted by Freddie Cloke. 

11:20 – 11:40     Potential destinations for brand development hosted by Ashley Kirk. 

11:40 – 12:30     Insights and advice from British brands already overseas:

Marco Longmore, Founder and Executive Director, Castle Rock Education Ltd: With experience from Brighton College Dubai and Fettes Guangzhou, Marco will share some of the essential factors a school brand should address in the very earliest stages of international planning and investor partnerships

 

Scott Bryan, International Director, Wellington College International Ltd: With six schools now in the Wellington ‘family’ of international schools, Scott will discuss the successes and challenges of a UK brand expanding overseas
