Edtech is no longer a ‘nice to have’ for international schools, it is embedded in every aspect of school operations, supporting both administrative and pedagogical needs. Choosing the right edtech product can greatly improve administrative efficiency for staff, giving them more time to focus on the learning outcomes of their students.
Elena Mora, International Schools Field Researcher at ISC Research, will host the discussion with:
Sunny Thakral, Head of Computer Science at Brighton College Bangkok
Sunny is a UK-based educator who taught there for 11 years before deciding to shift horizons and travel the world. He currently works at Brighton College Bangkok and, prior to that, led digital learning at Harrow, Beijing and The British School, New Delhi. His work on digital technology at The British School led to the Best British School in the World Award in 2018. He has been recognised as an Edruptor for two consecutive years (2021 and 2022) by ISC Research.
Sunil Nanwani, Head of Mathematics at Chatsworth International School
Sunil has been a teacher for nearly 15 years and is currently the Head of Mathematics at Chatsworth International School in Singapore where he has worked since 2017. He is passionate about edtech integration in the classroom and also works as an Online Teacher for Pamoja.
They will explore how edtech products can help solve administrative problems for international schools. They will also look at some of the challenges posed by edtech products in terms of pricing, CPD and integration.
