Jeremy Lewis served as Head of School at ACS Egham International School in the UK for 12 years. Prior to joining ACS Egham, Jeremy held leadership roles in Turkey, Vietnam, Hungary, Japan and Kuwait. During his 38 years in international education, Jeremy has acquired considerable experience in Recruitment, Accreditation, School Inspection, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Staff and Student Wellbeing, Strategic and Facilities Planning, Curriculum Development across all four IB programmes, Coaching and Mentoring, and School Governance. As part of his leadership journey, Jeremy has also acquired considerable experience in crisis management.
During his career, Jeremy has served in a wide variety of leadership roles ranging from Curriculum Coordinator, Head of Department, IB Diploma Coordinator, High School Principal, to Deputy Head of School at the International School of Ho Chi Minh City. For the past 17 years Jeremy has been a Head of School at both Istanbul International Community School and ACS Egham International School. These leadership roles have been held in for profit and not for profit schools, and Jeremy’s most recent Headship experience has been working within a group of schools who have acquired charitable status.
Jeremy earned a BA in Cultural Studies from Portsmouth University and a Post Graduate Certificate in Education from Nottingham University. He earned his Masters in Education from Bath University where his focus was on managing change in International Schools. He was the Board Chair of the Central Eastern European Schools Association (CEESA), and he is a certified Coach. Jeremy is currently a Commissioner for International Education (NEASC) and a judge for the International School Awards (ISC). Jeremy brings a love of education and passion for transformational change to his role as a Consultant.
