The Awards provide an opportunity to highlight your community’s good practice, creative endeavours and innovation. Your application should focus on one specific initiative that meets the following three criteria:

 

  1. Supporting at least one of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)
  2. Rooting Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Justice (DEIJ)
  3. Supporting the K-12 schools community

2024 WINNERS

British Vietnamese International School Hanoi

Recognition for its community service programme project working with residents of the Floating Village in Hanoi.

Lincoln Community School in Ghana

Recognised for hosting its inaugural student-led conference, West African International Schools Activities League Model United Nations. Over 150 students took part taking on various roles, providing students with invaluable opportunities for developing leadership and collaboration skills.

Singapore (Cambodia) International Academy in Phnom Penh

Recognised for its service-learning initiative working in conjunction with NGO, Love Cambodia, where students from the school raise money selling food and crafts before using this to fund sanitation work in a local village.

UWC Thailand

Recognition for implementing ‘The Outdoor Experiential Education Programme,’ which sees students connect with nature and enhance their academic learning through real-world applications.

St Andrews International School Bangkok

St Andrews International School Bangkok won an award for its creative initiative, the ‘Elephant Project,’ working in collaboration with GTAEF (Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation), providing a comprehensive educational experience whilst raising awareness about elephant conservation.
